The participants will be asked to address both the theoretical aspects of the question as well as case studies. Among the conceptual issues to be considered are the definition of the nation, the typology of minorities, collective rights, federalism, and the definition of the multinational state.

C'est autour d'une rencontre tenant de l'énigmatique, entre Jacques Derrida et ce que nous avons convenu d'appeler judéités, que nous souhaitons réunir des intellectuels venus de disciplines diverses. Nous espérons ainsi ouvrir un espace de questionnement des plus vastes et des plus libres qui accueillerait des interrogations portant sur le politique, le philosophique, le religieux, l'estétique, le social ou encore la psychanalyse et la littérature, etc. Ne voulant pas circonscrire cette rencontre en une identité simple et assurée, ni dessiner des contours définitifs à la discussion, nous nous attendons à ce qu'un tel colloque invite à suivre les chemins d'une rencontre – ou de son impossibilité – entre le travail de Jacques Derrida et les judéités.
